Why Webprint?

All files arrive as PDF files. Forget about technical problems.

Webprint allows your customers to submit their print jobs to you – right from their own desktops. All they need is a PC with an Internet connection and access to Webprint.

Here’s how it works: When a customer submits a job, it’s automatically pre-flighted by Webprint. The customer gets an accurate proof of the document an Adobe PDF file. The customer can see that the document’s ready to go, or make last-minute corrections. After the document’s been proofed, a print-ready file is sent over the Internet – right to you. Sent along with the file are the customer’s instructions – the type and color of paper to be use, which binding or cover stock, where and when to deliver the finished copies, etc.

Webprint notifies you when the job arrives. As you process the file, your customer can track its progress right from his or her own desktop. There’s no need to call you and ask. And the customer is automatically notified when the job is ready – either that it’s ready for pick up, or that it’s been sent to whatever location(s) using whatever delivery service(s) the customer selected.

Bottom line is this – your customers pre-flight and proof their own jobs BEFORE they’re submitted to you. And you know darned well what that means – gone are the problems associated with:

  • wrong or missing fonts;
  • incompatible versions of different applications;
  • missing or improperly prepared graphics;
  • inexplicable PostScript errors;

more . . . . .
