The day after I started working for Webprint, the president of the company called me into a meeting. A big trade show was coming up, and he wanted to make a splash. He wanted to completely redo the company’s Web site. Others were going to tend to the graphics and the image maps and the JavaScript and such, and I was going to do the copy. He wanted to know if we could do all this in just two weeks.

What a challenge! All I had to do was learn the Webprint system just like that, come up with a good, solid pitch for two different markets, and then produce gobs of good copy with a brief amount of time.
